Meet Dr. Edward Chia-Heng Wang

Edward Chia-Heng Wang, M.D., is a cardiologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based cardiovascular care with a strong focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has achieved testamur status in Adult Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He combines academic excellence with advanced clinical training to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.

Dr. Wang's Education

Dr. Wang earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley(opens in new tab) before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School(opens in new tab). He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at University of California, San Diego (UCSD)(opens in new tab), followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)(opens in new tab), where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.

Dr. Wang specializes in non-invasive cardiology, with expertise in the evaluation and management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and preventive cardiology. His clinical interests include cardiovascular imaging, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and the use of innovative technologies to improve patient care and outcomes.
