Dr. Raeisi-Giglou’s comprehensive educational journey began with his undergraduate studies in Human Biology and Physiology at the esteemed University of Toronto, culminating in graduation with honors and high distinction. He further developed his skills during medical school in New York City, consistently earning placement on the Dean’s List throughout all four years of rigorous training.Following his tenure at medical school, Dr. Raeisi-Giglou embarked on an extensive training path marked by impressive scholarly achievements. He completed his internal medicine residency training at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he garnered multiple accolades, including multiple best resident awards. His passion for cardiology research and scholarly pursuits led him to transition into the role of a hospitalist physician at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he made significant contributions to the field through the publication of over fifteen manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the prestigious JACC and Circulation cardiology journals.Dr. Raeisi-Giglou’s dedication to advancing his expertise in cardiology was further evidenced by his completion of a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Case Western Reserve University, where he gained comprehensive experience in heart failure, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology. Subsequently, he pursued specialized training in advanced cardiac imaging at The Ohio State University, attaining the highest level (level 3) of proficiency in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Raeisi-Giglou focuses on a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including valvular heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, as well as preventative cardiology, hypertension, and lipid management. He possesses expertise in all non-invasive diagnostic imaging modalities, including cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and cardiac nuclear scans, along with proficiency in transesophageal (TEE) and transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), as well as diagnostic left and right heart cardiac catheterization.Dr. Raeisi-Giglou’s dedication to patient advocacy and commitment to delivering exceptional cardiac care are truly commendable.
