Meet Dr. Sinan Denny-Brown

Sinan Denny-Brown, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a highly skilled pediatric cardiologist providing comprehensive care for pediatric and fetal heart conditions. Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Denny-Brown specializes in a broad range of cardiovascular issues-from common concerns like heart murmurs, heart defects, chest pain, and family history of heart disease to complex congenital heart disorders and conditions associated with sudden cardiac events.

He is dedicated to diagnosing and treating heart disease early and educating families on prevention, a commitment he believes is especially crucial for his young patients.

Dr. Denny-Brown’s Education

Originally from Virginia, Dr. Denny-Brown earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He then relocated to California to train at one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he completed his internship, residency, and pediatric cardiology fellowship.

Dedication to Excellence

Dr. Denny-Brown has a strong research background through his work at Johns Hopkins Hospital, the National Institutes of Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He has authored multiple publications and served as a reviewer for Pediatric Cardiology, a peer-reviewed medical journal. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Fetal Heart Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Denny-Brown provides specialized care in all aspects of pediatric and adult congenital cardiology, with expertise in echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound), fetal cardiology, hypertension and cholesterol management, preventive cardiology, and cardiac critical care.

Well-regarded for his knowledgeable and compassionate approach, Dr. Denny-Brown plays a pivotal role in pediatric cardiology, continually working to improve long-term health outcomes for his patients.
