Meet Mimi Takigawa

Mimi Takigawa, MSN, RN, FNP-C is an esteemed nurse practitioner providing exceptional patient care at Pacific Cardiovascular Associates Medical Group.

Educational Journey

Mimi earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Biola University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees at Western University of Health Sciences. She went on to complete a Cardiology Specialty Program at Duke University.

Dedication to Excellence

As a family nurse practitioner, Mimi provided annual health assessments on the geriatric population, as well as physicals and sick visits for patients of all ages, including low-risk prenatal care.

She also served as an urgent care nurse practitioner who provided quality service to walk-in patients for routine illnesses and minor procedures.

Mimi is known for fostering a collaborative and supportive environment in the clinical care setting, ensuring the best cardiovascular care to all of PCA’s patients.
